Chess is an Earthly game originating from a landmass known to the squishy fleshlings that inhabit it as India. Because of the Hungry Dragon campaign, two versions of this game include pieces based on an elaborate cover-up by an autonomous government agency.

While unmotivated by the disappearance of their unit commander, Diver and Kid played a game similar to chess. The New Forces Arrive!

BotBots cartoon

One night at the gaming store, Burgertron and Kikmee played a game of chess while Bonz-Eye and Clogstopper watched. Kikmee moved her knight and declared a check, but Burgertron enthusiastically responded by moving his bishop and capturing Kikmee's queen, terrifying her with the prospect of losing. The game was interrupted when Dimlit arrived to tell them about his new girlfriend and accidentally stumbled on the board, knocking the pieces all over the place. Seeing the incident as the perfect excuse not to lose, Kikmee quickly declared a tie and insisted to meet Dimlit's girlfriend immediately. Dimlit in Love

• Transformers Gen-1 Chess Set (2021)

The Transformers Generation One Chess Set was the first Kickstarter campaign by Eaglemoss and had many different tiers attached to it. The complete set would have come with 32 unique pieces based directly on the original cartoon and its movie, plus three replacement pieces, a chess board, a pin badge and an exclusive 272-page Character Guide book. It is entirely possible that more tiers would have been added had the campaign been successful.

The campaign concluded unsuccesfully on September 24, 2021, having raised only $92,054 of its $300,000 goal in pledges.
