Allenby

- Allenby is a human from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
General Allenby works in conjunction with the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States military in overseeing Skywatch, the army's anti-Transformer branch. He is a grouchy man with little patience for soldiers who do not follow the rules, and will happily court-martial anyone who is caught breaking them.
On his free time, he enjoys fly fishing.

After Major Spike Witwicky of Skywatch willingly released Optimus Prime from captivity (albeit temporarily and for good reasons), his co-worker Sandra feared that General Allenby would punish the entire unit if he found out. All His Engines
Some time later, Allenby was pulled away from a fishing trip for a video conference with Major Witwicky, who had organized a truce between his Skywatch unit and the Autobots. Alongside General Daniel Witwicky and the Joint Chiefs, he questioned Spike on how Optimus Prime was able to escape, but did not receive a satisfying answer. Allenby and his fellow overseers were also not so sure if collaborating with the Autobots was a wise idea, but let Spike's unit keep their autonomy for the moment. Allenby ended the conference by warning Spike that they'd be watching his every move. Scrapper
Allenby was among the military brass contacted by Jazz when he ended the Autobots' relationship with the United States military. He informed Allenby and the others that Spike Witwicky had been collaborating with Swindle for technology, and should be considered a fugitive in violation of US and international law. Before Allenby could respond, Jazz informed him the whole conversation was being recorded and turned over to the media, then blew up the abandoned Skywatch barracks and any Cybertronian technology left on the premises.
