The accused Badgeless is a hapless Cybertronian security agent whom Blast Off framed for murder.

Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

After the end of the Great War, this Cybertronian joined the Badgeless, Chancellor Starscream's elite goon squad on united post-war Cybertron. Tensions rose amongst the populace when rumors circulated that Starscream was secretly holding the Decepticon Swindle captive, and thus the Badgeless was put on high alert for riots. On one patrol, however, this Badgeless failed to notice that his partner had been replaced by the provocateur Blast Off, who had disguised himself as a Badgeless. Outside Maccadam's, the duo encountered Ironhide escorting out a drunk Decepticon. The 'Con flippantly shouted "Swindle lives!" at them, prompting the duo to arrest the 'Con, only for the 'Con to punch them aside and run off. Blast Off chased the 'Con into an alley and started firing, with his partner arriving on the scene to back him up. When Ironhide arrived moments later, the 'Con was dead, and in the ensuing chaos, Blast Off slipped away, leaving his partner to take the fall for murdering the drunk 'Con. 07:00:00 Subsequently, this Cybertronian was put on trial for murder. He repeatedly stated that his partner was the one who made the decision to open fire, but his credibility was hindered by the authorities being unable to find the supposed partner. Starscream himself could discern that this accused Badgeless was innocent, but nonetheless ruled him guilty in order to preserve social order for himself. Heavy The Price of You

  • The crimes of Starscream and the Combaticons were ultimately exposed in the Till All Are One annual, but whether this Cybertronian was exonerated or not is unknown.
