Your edits

[redigera wikitext]

I write in English, as I suspect you're not familiar with the Swedish language. Your edits in the articles for Dortmund and Ernst Wilhelm Hengstenberg are very puzzling. It's enough with one reference for the year in the Dortmund article (and not a whole bunch of references baked in to one reference to support this), and the Ernst Wilhelm Hengstenberg article has already a general reference - and as I can't see that you have edited this article on svwp before, it's very unclear what your listed references are for, exactly. Please don't make the same edits again, until you explain your purpose with them. Best Wishes, --Pjred (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 15.49 (CEST)[svara]

The reference and the cited sources are meant to improve the articles. Please help, if necessary! Thank you! --Tremonist (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 15.42 (CEST)[svara]
To be honest, I can't see how your edits improved the articles. A "reference" is something you add to support a specific fact. I suspect you use the insertion of references as a way to add links to "further reading". If this is the case, instead of inserting the information under the "reference" heading, you have to make a new section called "Vidare läsning" at the and of the article. There you can list books and other publications with further information about the subject.
An advice: it's usually not a good idea to edit articles in wp languages you can't speak yourself. Best Wishes, --Pjred (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 16.24 (CEST)[svara]
You can now see how it should look like in the article Hugo Dingler, where I made a separate section for "Vidare läsning" (transl. "Further reading").--Pjred (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 16.30 (CEST)[svara]
Thank you for your support! Concerning the reference for Dortmund's earliest mentioning in official documents, the reference really is that long, it's not "a bunch of references baked in to one reference," as you say. The source cited is an edition of ancient documents comprising several volumes. Concerning Hengstenberg, I've now placed the literature list in the newly-established section "Vidare läsning". I hope you are pleased now. Thank you for your help in general! I try my best to improve articles on topics I'm really familiar with in order to make them more scientific. Also, I would like to encourage co-operation world-wide what I believe is in our common interest. Let's become friends and work for a common goal. :-)--Tremonist (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 16.42 (CEST)[svara]
Thanks for the explanation! I have now changed back to your version for the Dortmund article. If you find a shorter reference in the future, I hope you can change it then. Best Wishes, --Pjred (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 16.56 (CEST)[svara]
Seems that you got to the trigger first on the Dortmund article ;-).--Pjred (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 16.59 (CEST)[svara]
Thank you for your understanding! Most references generally are much, much shorter, of course, this one was extremely long even for me. Just intended to cite correctly. :-) --Tremonist (disk) 4 oktober 2013 kl. 17.06 (CEST)[svara]
