Name
[edit]- Rosa × evratina Bosc ex Poir. in Lamarck, J.-B. & al., Encyc. Suppl. 4. 714. 1816.
- Formula hybridae: Rosa corymbifera Borkh. × Rosa gallica L. × Rosa villosa L.
- Formula hybridae: Rosa × alba L. × Rosa villosa L.
Note: This circumscription is not upheld by the references and wider sources, which maintain it is a synonym of Rosa carolina subsp. carolina - a species found in North America. In addition, the protologue notes that the plant they described was found in Carolina, USA. It seems that the plant illustrated is an artificial hybrid.
