Hello
Searching around, I found that tomcat5.5 directories were reorganized
in Debian Lenny, for FHS compliance.
Also, debian sun-jdk and tomcat 5.5 packages turn on security by default,
allowing 
multiapps deployment.
Different from upstream tomcat.
Then, old or weak policies may break.
The debian right way should be to configure 
/etc/tomcat5.5/policy.d/50user.policy
following [1] doc.
and [0] hints regarding paths, if needed.
I will try something like 

grant codeBase 
"file:${catalina.base}/webapps/JavaBridge/-" 
{
        permission java.security.AllPermission;
};

Maybe could work.
More suggestions?

Yes, you are right.

I've got this strange idea when reading the support request. But since the
(deb- and rpm-) packages depend on apache anyway, there's no problem.

Hello,
For some reason, the web.xml is not being accepted by Tomcat 5.5 auto
deploy.
I will investigate this.
If someone have some suggestions, feel free to post.
Also, there are some packaging errors at 5.4.4.1-1 deb file. Please, wait
the
5.4.4.2-1 or compile from repository tomorrow for this test. (See
README.Debian)

Although it is possible to fetch libraries from other jar files using a
jar:// URI, at least in the Sun Java platform, this feature may not work on
other platforms; GCC/GCJ uses ELF libs instead.

I think there's no use for this feature. If you're looking for a java module
system, read the proposal from the RICE people, which was inspired by the
SML/NJ. It uses real generics to build compound modules.

The video which you recommended is only about one "folder"with classes. In
my case it is not so.
As Ihave already written "jars in jar"(fat jar) and I must not change this
structure...

afaik one can not nest jar's (exceptions are war, ear, etc.)

=> you have to put all the jar's you want to use directly into /WEB-INF/lib
or /WEB-INF/classes etc.

try that.

also it looks like the code you provided below does not correspond to the
exception you gave
(because there is no java_require("WebProject2.jar") in your code)

The video which you recommended is only about one "folder"with classes. In my case it is not so.
As Ihave already written "jars in jar"(fat jar) and I must not change this structure...

I just installed php-cgi additionally and everything works fine.

If I have one JAR-file with some packages and classes I can access all classes without any problems:
$myObj = new java("newweb.farben");//newweb=package;farben=class

but if I puck a JAR in another JAR-file the classes are not found anymore. ....





      

As long as you notify the Java application server about your changes, for
example by re-deploying your changes, this will work, yes.

You need to create a library containing your classes and add it to Java's
repository, along with all dependencies.

Or you can add your classes and all their dependencies to your
JavaBridge.war zip file and re-deploy that. You can find a video at the
bottom of our install section on our web site, which shows that.

Oops, I just saw that you want it the other way 'round.

You can send the XML C an I protocol requests directly from your c#
programs. Please see the python an scheme examples from our web site.

Just double-click on MonoBridge.exe to start a .NET daemon. After that you
can dynamically link .NET libraries into PHP using mono/Mono.inc, see the
load_assembly.php for details.

in my jar file there are many classes, and the class which I need to access can't be found.
I tryed to solve it so:
$myObj = new java("HalloWelt.web.HelloWorld");
but it does not work.Please tell me  how can I access this class?
