GoogleTest is Google's C++ mocking and test framework. It's used by many internal projects at Google, as well as a number of notable projects such as The Chromium projects, the OpenCV computer vision library, and the LLVM compiler. This GoogleTest project is actually a union of what used to be two separate projects: the old GoogleTest and GoogleMock, an extension of GoogleTest for writing and using C++ mock classes. Since they were so closely related, they were merged to create an even better GoogleTest. GoogleTest features an xUnit test framework, a rich set of assertions, user-defined assertions, death tests, among many others. It's been used on a variety of platforms, including Cygwin, Symbian, MinGW and PlatformIO.

PyLoris is a scriptable tool for testing a server's vulnerability to connection exhaustion denial of service (DoS) attacks. PyLoris can utilize SOCKS proxies and SSL connections, and can target protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP, IMAP, and Telnet.

SoloPi is a wireless, non-intrusive Android automation tool. The public beta version has three main functions: recording and playback, performance testing, and multiple controls on one machine, which can save valuable time for test developers. SoloPi has the ability to record operations. SAFS is a software test automation framework supporting data-driven (aka keyword-driven) functional test automation and associated services. The framework can run stand-alone on Windows, Linux, and Mac as well as integrate the use of IBM Rational Functional Tester, IBM Rational Robot, Smart Bear/AutomatedQA Test Complete, Apple XCode UIAutomation, Android SDK Automaton, Thoughtworks Selenium, and several other tools. Among other features, it provides advanced support of language localization testing (NLS) allowing the same tests to work for many different languages or test configurations. With various different tool configurations SAFS can be used to test Java, Web/Html, Flex, .Net, WPF, Win, iOS, and Android domains natively. And with advanced Image-Based Testing support built-in SAFS can be used to test virtually anything, anywhere.

Tests written with commented GIVEN, WHEN and THEN regions can be transformed by actually wrapping code within basic blocks called issues. This can occur in a nested fashion. Start with Test|TEST, that can wrap any issue. Given|GIVEN can wrap Given|GIVEN, When|WHEN; or Then|THEN issues. When|WHEN can wrap When|WHEN or Then|THEN issues. Then|THEN can only wrap Then|THEN issues. The Kotlin implementation supports 'suspend' functions: for any issue, there are two ("suspendable" and "nonsuspendable") kinds, that can be toggled between, while in the same foremost issue. Each issue can be labelled, and return values from corresponding code blocks can be referred to (or addressed, by nesting level), and searched using labels; wildcard matching is available too. Unlabelled given/then/when are not searchable, their return values are stored as the foremost issue's pending result. Supporting coroutines for unit or instrumented tests in Android is under development.
