Ballerina is an open-source programming language for the cloud that makes it easier to use, combine, and create network services. Xtraitj is a programming language for pure trait-based programming. It is completely compatible and interoperable with the JAVA platform without reducing the flexibility of traits. Xtraitj is integrated in Eclipse (editor with all the standard tooling) and JDT. It is implemented in Xtext, relying also on Xbase.

cowbel is a minimalist experimental programming language. It features strict types, static compilation into real machine code (via C), an object oriented system based on interfaces and composition, generics, no null, and a global garbage collector.
