Students walking on campus outside Battle Hall
VISIT US

Located near the corner of Guadalupe and 22nd Street, the School of Architecture occupies four buildings on the westernmost edge of The University of Texas at Austin campus: Goldsmith Hall (GOL), Sutton Hall (SUT), West Mall Building (WMB), and Battle Hall (BTL).

Prospective students and guests are welcome at any time to conduct a self-guided tour of our studio spaces, facilities, and campus or explore the UT campus virtually. Please notify the Undergraduate or Graduate Office in advance of coming to campus to inquire about guided tour options.

For more information about prospective student visits and in-person and virtual information sessions, visit the Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Admissions pages.

VISITOR PARKING

Metered street parking around the school is possible but is usually very difficult to find during the semester. The closest parking lot to the school is the privately-owned Dobie Mall Parking Garage on Whitis between 20th and 21st. There are also several surface parking lots (approx. $5-6/day) on Whitis between MLK and 21st. These are all less than a 5-minute walk. The University also has several parking garages and lots, but these are located farther from the school.

LECTURES AND EVENTS

The School of Architecture hosts frequent lectures and events throughout the academic year that are open to the public. Visit the School of Architecture’s Events page for the most up-to-date list of event opportunities.
