William A. Thomas

William A. Thomas (October 21, 1948 – January 18, 2019) was an American football player and coach. He was the 15th head football coach for the Tennessee State University Tigers in Nashville, Tennessee and he held that position for five seasons, from 1984 until 1988. His career coaching record at Tennessee State was 34–20–3.[1]

Thomas died on January 18, 2019 at the age of 70.[2]
