In Japan, a ward (Japanese: 区, Ku) is one of the divisions of a large city.

  1. Since map was made the following additional cities were divided into wards: Hamamatsu (between Nagoya and Shizuoka), Okayama (between Hiroshima and Kobe) and Sapporo and Kumamoto.
