Wording

Hi, TDKR. About this change you made to the article on Kamala Harris. The wording "she would lose the election" is complex, at least partly because the word "would" is usually used for conditional statements. DYK nominations

Hello! I was wondering, do the DYK queues have to be lined in a specific pattern? (for example: Nonliving, living, Nonliving, or living, nonliving, living) ⯎ Aster alee ⯎ 13:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Asteralee:! I was taught a long time ago when filling out the queues that the hooks listed should be diverse and somewhat equal numbered (queue 1: nonliving, living, nonliving, living, etc. and then queue 2 would be the reverse: living, nonliving, living, nonliving, etc.) Nonliving could mean anything that isn't human/animal related and conversely living could mean anything about a living/deceased thing like humans, animals, etc. :) TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 14:00, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
