Stanley Sporkin

Stanley Sporkin (February 7, 1932 – March 23, 2020) was an America politician and lawyer. He was director of enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He was a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia from 1985 to 1999. He was nominated by President Ronald Reagan. Sporkin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Sporkin died on March 23, 2020 in Rockville, Maryland of congestive heart failure at the age of 88.[1]
