Savassi is a neighborhood in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It is in the central-south zone of the city. It has many bars, nightclubs, and restaurants.[1] It has a busy and well developed shopping district and several shopping malls.[2] Savassi is one of the most prestigious areas in Belo Horizonte. It used to be a region inside the traditional and wealthy Funcionários neighborhood. In 2006, it was changed by the Town House before the meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank, which happened the same year.
