Jean-Marc Ayrault (born 25 January 1950) is a French politician.[1] He was the Prime Minister of France from 15 May 2012 to 31 March 2014. He was the Mayor of Nantes from 1989 to 2012. He was appointed prime minister by François Hollande following the defeat of the UMP president and the resignation of that government.
