Jacob Needleman

Jacob Needleman (October 6, 1934 – November 28, 2022) was an American philosopher, author, and religious scholar. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1] He was a professor of philosophy at San Francisco State University[2][3] and was said to have "popularized the term 'new religious movements'."[4]

Needleman died on November 28, 2022 in Oakland, California at the age of 88.[5]
