Jōtoku

Jōtoku (承徳) was a Japanese era name (年号,, nengō,, lit. "year name") after Eichō and before Kōwa. This period started in November 1097 and ended in August 1099.[1] The reigning emperor was Emperor Horikawa-tennō (嘉保天皇).[2]
