Ganon (ガノン), also known as Ganondorf (ガノンドロフ, Ganondorofu) is a character in The Legend of Zelda video games. He is the most common villain of the series, and often kidnaps Princess Zelda and battles with Link. He has been revived from the dead several times, and has two forms - Ganondorf, his humanoid form, and Ganon, his pig form.

Ganon also appears in the Super Smash Bros. series as a playable character. He first appeared as an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee and returned in both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. His design in Brawl and the 3DS and Wii U versions are based on his Twilight Princess design.[1][2][3]

In 2013, he was ranked #1 on GamesRadar's list of 100 best villains in video games.[4]
