Aminoimidazolaza (EC 3.5.4.8) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom 4-aminoimidazol aminohidrolaza.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 4-aminoimidazol + H2O imidazol-4-on + NH3
Za dejstvo ovog enzima je neophodan jon Fe2+.
