Notes
His godfaither wis Ernst Mach. He is nae to be confused wi Wolfgang Paul, whom Pauli cried his "imaginary part",[1] a pun wi the imaginary unit i.

Wolfgang Ernst Pauli (25 Apryle 1900 – 15 December 1958) wis an Austrick-born Swiss theoretical physicist an ane o the pioneers o quantum physics. In 1945, efter haein been nominatit bi Albert Einstein,[2] Pauli received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his "decisive contreibution throu his diskivery o a new law o Naitur, the exclusion principle or Pauli principle". The diskivery involved spin theory, that is the basis o a theory o the structur o maiter.
