Las Cabras is a Chilean commune an ceety in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region.

According tae the 2002 census o the National Statistics Institute, Las Cabras spans an aurie o 749.2 km2 (289 sq mi) an haes 20,242 inhabitants (10,621 men an 9,621 weemen). o these, 7,548 (37.3%) lived in urban auries an 12,694 (62.7%) in landwart auries. The population grew bi 14.1% (2,504 persons) atween the 1992 an 2002 censuses.[1]

As a commune, Las Cabras is a third-level admeenistrative diveesion o Chile administered bi a municipal cooncil, headed bi an alcalde who is directly electit every fower year.

Athin the electoral divisions o Chile, Las Cabras is representit in the Chamber o Deputies bi Mrs. Alejandra Sepúlveda (PRI) an Mr. Javier Macaya (UDI) as pairt o the 34t electoral district, (thegither wi San Fernando, Chimbarongo, San Vicente, Peumo, Pichidegua an Las Cabras). The commune is representit in the Senate bi Andrés Chadwick Piñera (UDI) an Juan Pablo Letelier Morel (PS) as pairt o the 9t senatorial constituency (O'Higgins Region).
