Other than that, having faster machine always helps but it really depends on what you’re after. Game-ready character motion? film(realistic or stylized)? motion graphic type of animation? IANAL but again, the program is not program in general sense. The regular “program” part here is ttf format and protocol around there, but protection goes over ttf data as a whole.
