Is there no instance out there that has full freedom so I can put whatever I want in my feed?

Well, how can I get a feed that I myself curate? If this isn’t possible, I don’t see this thing taking off.

If I make an account on some random instance that has nothing filtered, will I still be able to interact with these communities?

not enough porn
I think that’s how it works yeah, but users from Beehaw can still interact with you. I’m curious to see what options are in place to stop stalkers and the like.
I’m sure it’s possible, maybe ask on support?
Simply block it.
There is!
Click Communities, and from there you can sort Local (Communities that originate from your instance, for you it’s feddit.de!), or All, which includes most communities every public instance (like how I’m commenting to you from beehaw.org!)
From there, simply subscribe to what communities you like, even if they come from a different instance.

Yeah but I wouldn’t know what the fuck to do, and I’d feel a bit cringy with what kind of roleplaying I need to do.
I’m assuming the OP said something about creating your own instance? Not sure–Anyways, the beauty of how Lemmy is laid out is that you can find an instance for programming, here’s one for you.
There are also these available instances, just click on them, hit subscribe and it should be available to you.

Big in subs, yeah, but most of their active users barely scraped a couple hundred.
Yeah of course.
though i dunno a thing about tabletops except the DnD movie

Nah it’ll be forgotten

yeah but people are addicted and will forget. most users here will eventually return to reddit, that’s just how it works.

Abnormal behaviour. Putting things where they don’t belong. Poor memory

I predict Reddit backing out, lowering the API price to something realistic, and then everyone forgets what happened, like every other time something like this has happened.
Each instance has certain instances linked or blocked. This means you might never see content from a different instance if it’s not linked or if it’s blocked.
you can view what instance is allowed by clicking on your local “instances”
I recommend making a general account and an edgy account for when you want to talk about controversial topics
