I accidentally read the headline as “alligators” first and was very confused because:

1. That would be reasonable advice.
2. Where did they find alligators in Minnesota?

Sometimes I wonder why copyright isn’t the same length as a patent? I don’t think it particularly matters whether you use utility patent or design patent length. Patent law has it’s faults, but as someone who both has patents and has had to deal with someone else beating me to an idea, it seems to be a better system than whatever the fuck Disney has managed to turn copyright into.

I bet it’s a tough time to be an Onion writer right now. How do you beat reality?

My parent’s house has a combo mudroom/laundry. It’s also the entryway when you come in through the garage. It is pretty useful, putting it at the back of the house would completely defeat the usefulness.

Man, I must be weirdly lucky or gentle with phones. Note 3, Note 9, and finally whatever the S25 Note equivalent is actually called, and the only reason I updated from the Note 9 is because it was outdated enough that apps started going “dude, you need something more modern.” Everything hardware wise still worked fine on it.

This is why I have a preorder in on a truck that’s shorter than my Impreza. I just hope that the thing gets to production.

1,700lb payload and north of 6,000lb towing (with probably no range on the towing, but honestly thst doesn’t matter to me). And it’s an EV.

Either I’ve had weirdly good luck with Samsung, or I’m exceptionally gentle on phones. I expect 6 years minimum out of my Notes, and so far that’s held up.

Hell, Windows 11 is broken enough on my work laptop that it sometimes struggles with fucking explorer.exe, and this damn thing will run multithousand part CAD models without too much hassle while Windows isnt fucking up.

There’s a reason I’m not looking at Windows for anything other than my main desktop anymore. My family used to run 4 or 5 Windows computers. Will likely be two moving forward, and would be zero if my wife and I didnt have programs that just do not have a Linux equivalent.

Perhaps amount of time the app is the focused window AND the mouse is in it or keystrokes are actively being entered to it?

Class 1 is pedal assist only, max 20mph, max 750W motor.

Class 2 is pedal assist or throttle, max 20mph, max 750w motor.

Class 3 is pedal assist only, max 28mph, max 750w motor.

Anything else technically is an emoped or even a motorcycle if powerful and fast enough.

Most of Europe only allows up to 15ish mph before shifting classification to some sort of moped/motorcycle if my memory serves correctly.
