The guy kind of looks like Johnny Flynn, who is in the TV series Lovesick (aka Scrotal Recall) but I can’t seem to pin down what this particular picture is from. Doesn’t look like he’s been in any 50 shades movies.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•[Discussion] What are you playing on your Deck? - Feb 2026
3·6 days ago- Monster Train 2
- Ball x Pit
- Absolum
Also been playing Expedition 33 and picked up Shredders yesterday, but have been streaming them from my PC as they look awful when trying to play natively.
New patch and DLC for Monster Train tomorrow that I’m excited for. Slay the Spire 2 will have some solid competition for my time when it releases!

6·9 days agoI had hoped they would have gone down the animation route with something like fortiche / castlevania / vox machina, but I think Sanderson is absolutely set on live action.
Either way, Sanderson retaining so much control is very promising. The guy is also so passionate I would like to think we wouldn’t see anything if it wasn’t quality.
By working late it’s not just the kids that are getting harmed but any co-workers.
Had a colleague that used to work late and through his lunch, eventually the manager approached him and told him to stop. The guy said if he didn’t do it the work would pile up. The manager told him that by working overtime he was making it look like the current team headcount was sufficient and that he couldn’t get evidence there weren’t enough people to meet demand. Guy stopped doing unpaid overtime and after a couple of months there was a new member of the team to ease the workload.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•Steam Deck has hit a milestone with over 25,000 games rated Playable or Verified by Valve (7,518 Verified, 17,492 Playable), up from 20,000 in June 2025
10·13 days agoThis is great news!
I do feel like for some of these games being labeled as playable, by a lot of people’s standards I don’t think they would say they’re enjoyable to play in the state they are presented.
For example Expedition 33 is labeled as Steam Deck verified, but the quality is very poor, that I’m not sure I would be able to stand playing for long. Instead I’ve had to set up to stream from my PC.
Still great news though, and I hope the steam deck is considered more in the future when games are being made.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Ubisoft shares drop 33% following its ‘major company reset’ announcement - The company’s share price has dropped 95% in total over the past eight yearsEnglish
1·14 days agoThanks, been looking into this and it seems there is Descenders and Descenders Next. The former is really well received but it seems Next is still quite a work in progress. The impression I get from the store page is Descenders only has mountain biking? Still looks great though.

4·14 days agoI hate that Ubisoft have Steep and Riders Republic. Hands down my favourite snowboarding/skiing games that aren’t SSX.
I don’t suppose there are any better alternatives? I much prefer the arcade style over realism. It’s nice to be able to finish work and just freeride to unwind.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft CEO warns that we must 'do something useful' with AI or they'll lose 'social permission' to burn electricity on itEnglish
21·17 days agoit is useful as a sort of better google, like for things that are documented but reading the documentation makes your head hurt so you can ask it to dumb it down to get the core concept and go from there
I agree with this point so much. I’m probably a real thicko, and being able to use it to explain concepts in a different way or provide analogies has been so helpful for my learning.
I hate the impact from use of AI, and I hope that we will see greater efficiencies in the near future so there is less resource consumption.

6·20 days agoI thought the overall story has an interesting concept, with some cheesy writing in some bits, and some comedy littered in so they aren’t taking themselves too seriously. Something that bothered me was the use of a current day wheelchair…

This is set 1000+ years in the future where they can solve people being blind but you’re telling me they can’t even have an professor-X style floating chair at a minimum?!

26·1 month agoI’m not advocating for American chlorinated chicken, but I’m not sure our chicken is to a much higher standard. Over the last few years I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of our chicken from white striping to woody breast. I guess this is caused by them using breeds that grow quickly.

Enjoying both so far. I miss the days of being able to binge a show, but also I like weekly formats so people have time to catch up without spoilers and talk about a show on equal footing.

3·2 months agoBack when I was in my early 20’s I once had an interview with the owner of an IT support business. He asked me what would I do if there was a sales person that was selling services that the company didn’t have the skillset for, and I said something along the lines of stop the guy from miss selling, identity if what he is trying to sell is a genuine area for growth, skill up staff and then offer the service.
He said I was wrong, the sales person was doing his job perfectly and it was up to the rest of the company to try and figure out how to fill that gap. I was offered the job but turned it down as I didn’t think that was ethical.
What would be the singular of twix?
I read on the BBC News site that it will be at the yearly MOT they will gauge how many miles have been done for the year and it will then be charged via the DVLA. They know that people will tamper with the odometers and haven’t yet figured out how to handle that situation.
How about “Prick”
Be me at party having a great time
See fat sweaty guy creeping on a girl and making her uncomfortable
Approach and tell him he’s creeping her out
Reach out to pull him away from her
He kicks me in the balls
He says I tried to sucker punch him
He’s kicked out of the party
Recover and enjoy the rest of the party

Monster Train 2 if you like card games. It’s got a load of content and replay and they recently released a patch today to add more!
