Just finished Alan Wake. Not what I expected from the game but overall interesting. Somewhat like the idea of making it like a TV Show. Short but story was decent.

That’s pretty wild. I honestly haven’t looked at how much ram is used on the computer. It hasn’t been sluggish so hasn’t come to mind. Mostly use a browser, teams, and a VPN.

Its not my machine, so I don’t really care. As long as it doesn’t prevent me from doing the work, then that is the employers problem what OS they want to enforce.
On my personal computer, I run what I want and will continue to do so where possible. Hence, why I like using Linux.

Overall good desktop so far. Still not the most polished but it works for what is needed and fast.

Think there is an app called Cider that is apple music. It should be in your Linux app store.

Keeping it simple, for me its about having a nice meal with the family and stuffing oneself. 😅

Yes, it let you connect devices to your smart home interface, that don’t support ZigBee or Zwave, without having to download a 3rd party app. The new protocol Threads also uses Matter for connection.

If its only the main OS not responding to SSH and the web portal just disappears after a couple of minutes use, then it might be your router is reusing the IP address linked to Proxmox. Proxmox uses a static IP address, so will not change once set up. Your router on the other hand may re use the address if it was never reserved specifically for the Proxmox machine. In other words, two devices are fighting for the same IP address on your router.
This is what happened to me. Took a while to figure it out until someone suggested checking the IPs and Mac addresses on the router. No issue since fixing it on the router. Just reserve the address on the router, reset the device that is using the same address (if you can figure it out), and reset the router. Make sure you are reserving the address for the correct machine by chcking the Mac address.

“… do not ,and will not … operate any programs that advance or promote DEI [diversity, equity, and inclusion], or discriminatory equity ideology…”
Aren’t these contradictory? 🤔

Can’t you just put the shorthand words you want in a personal dictionary? That worked for me. Able to type words not in the default dictionary without autocorrecting.

It does, if you are willing to use the google binaries. It’s on their github page.
Its a pretty broad question, like asking why you like video games or shows. Different people like different aspects of cars. Some use cars as a canvas to shape their car in a specific way that expresses their tastes. Others for their mechanical abilities.
Personally I like the driving experience. I appreciate a built up car, more then just a car bought with huge chunks of money. It shows more effort and personality of the owner tuning their car for a specific purpose. I also like a nice show car. Its like an art piece.

Either Interstellar, which also works for piefed, or Raccoon. Both are overall pretty good. Raccoon has a bit more feature choices for Lemmy.
I used to use Eternity but they haven’t updated the app in a while so I began searching elsewhere.

Graphene is not a fork. They just harden the code published by Google. This is why the recent changes by Google have been causing them more work.

Best of luck to Brazil then. Hopefully you get them to change course.
Probably same time. Gives them enough time to work on bugs.
Can’t really comment on the older versions since I recently deployed the server. However from the past couple of updates, the background syncing has improved on the Android version. Before I had to open the app for it to sync but recent updates now upload media without me having to open the app.
For the app itself, works pretty well. There still seems to be bugs or weird UI changes like adding to albums disappeared when you click a photo or video but its there on the grid view if you hold the file.
Overall it seems pretty stable and it has a dedicated app in both iOS and Android. Use to use nextcloud with memories before.

It will be more customizable than Gnome with default settings. Tweaks won’t be needed for certain customizations. It more likely will become an ecosystem like Gnome or KDE but that will take some time.
Not sure about the upgrade path from their current Gnome setup but I’m sure they will figure something out by the time stable is released.
To the Alexa interface?
Closest I found is home assistant voice. This is a link to the hardware but it links the software too Home Assistant Voice
