Despite it’s reputation, I don’t remember anyone being unkind even in the arch forums, worst cases I would describe more so as inconsiderate. We all lift together, after all

Pfft, L take, just learn linux from scratch and install linux on a pdf file, partition the machine, make it boot directly the pdf file, and have a working lfs, very customisable as well.
(In case it’s not clear, this is a joke, by which I mean, the part where I recommend this, the process I describe is for some reason an actually doable thing (technically can do it on a piece of salami if you’re rednecked enough))

Surely, you mistyped neovim?
Or tried to swipe to the next post and accidentally did the downvote option on a random comment (happened to me too many times TT)
The latter suggested by you is funnier tho, so I decide to believe that one was the case :)
I may be dumb, been on linux too long or a combination of both. But what other way is there, does windows work differently? (regarding that)
So,

is what you’re saying?
That seems like a really cool idea. I hope someone makes an operating system for home servers, or servers in general for just that.
Tho, I feel like it would be kinda niche for anything else unless the popular things get so bad that people who research find about it and try to use it for daily drivers.
It would take a really long while for it to get adopted en masse, but would be a cool project idea.
I’ll write that down, thanks! :D
I kinda have the reverse problem.
I started with arch and when I was making a beginner friendly linux laptop for my parents, I chose Mint and later switched to Zorin, and wanted to make everything as windows like as possible.
My problem that I felt like wrestling and constantly having to look what is in my system etc etc. Felt really frustrating and like I knew way less than I thought.
So IMO, distro hoppers are way more knowledgeable than many Arch users, merely from knowing how to wrestle with the system, where in contrast, all I do is install what I want and when I want to do something, I already know exactly and precisely what to look into.
Please censor the here, there are slurs /k*s (/j ofc, to not ruin the internet trust with slashes)
“So you are a (rule) bender! You traitor, I devoted my life to you!”
(attacks the blood bender since that’s a great idea)
Just came back from college in a nearby town by bike, so I think that answers your question. No, skis aren’t neccessary unless its extreme weather
I’m still in the upper half as we speak, chances of being the bottom one later again were very plausable, I have classes tomorrow, I owe you my gratitude OP, thank you <3
I think I’ve been single for too long, I don’t get it, help pls
I, as an arch user, honestly approve of this one. Well played, fuck you and see ya next week!
(the f u is /j ofc)
Shhh, you can just edit the comment to be “yay -Sau” and pretend you check for whether stuff breaks and act updating aur packages is something you prefer to do seperately ;)

I was trying to figure out whether it was linux or not a valid reason for me to get offended. (to those who cant figure out a joke, its because if it was linux, it would be true, especially for me >:3)
Bro invented gay maxxing. I’m very unfortunatelly straight maxxing then against my will, despite wanting to be girl maxxing :(( (am a cis guy)
