There is definitely a sense of ownership almost that comes with being part of a community that is just getting going. I had the same expectation as you going in but I feel part of something here much more than I did at Reddit.

Damn… I did not know Threads was going to be part of the fediverse. I only just found this unspoiled corner of the internet, I’d like it to stay as is please!

I am rather fond of 3, but I definitely see what you mean when it comes to his pompous nature. I also adore his first season. I think it is so well put together. I do wish Mike Yates first showed up in this season though. I strangely miss his presence when watching that season.

This site-wide irreverence brings me back to what the internet felt like to me in like 2007 though. Like sure you could get this in individual subreddits or things or Discord communities but I’ve missed this more open sense of mischief across communities more than I realised!

It truly does remind me of the wide-spread forum days, but with the bells and whistles that comes from connectivity across the board.

I started watching with 11, but my favourite is 12. 7 and 3 come closely behind. And Big Finish 6. You know what? I love nearly all of them with a few exceptions.
