It plays like a dream, low action, near perfect fretwork. I spent more time on the setup than I’d like to admit, but it was worth it.

Maybe for a future build, but for now I’m happy with how it turned out. I still have half a bottle of stain, so who knows.
Discogs is your friend. Finding it in the wild is almost impossible.

3·23 days agoI think there’s a difference between asking for chord progressions or tips and tricks to get a certain sounds and telling a LLM to generate a song.
With the former there’s usually zero originality, but I see how it can be useful as a starting point. People who do the latter can go f*ck off, especially if they try to make money off of it.

guitars@lemmy.world•My Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface died after 5 years of use. Is this still best bang for buck or should I replace with something different?English
2·24 days agoI’ve been using the Sonicake audio interface for a year or so. No complaints so far, especially for the money, but I think the Focusrite has some more features.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Youlag (v4.1.0): Modernize FreshRSS for viewing YouTube and articlesEnglish
1·24 days agoI’ve been using FreshRSS for years, because of it’s flexibility and customization options. I switched to Nextcloud News for a while, since I’m already running Nextcloud anyhow and it’s convenient, but it was far too buggy and missed some quality of life features FreshRSS has.
Also, I use Capy Reader on Android and that app is just perfect, with the same flexibility, plus it lets you read articles in the app, without opening the web page.

1·25 days agoI am on the latest version, and my settings appear to be correct. I also tried disabling all other plugins, but to no avail. Maybe I’ll dive into it this weekend, if I feel like it.
Thanks for responding anyhow.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Youlag (v4.1.0): Modernize FreshRSS for viewing YouTube and articlesEnglish
10·25 days agoI like the idea of having YouTube in my FreshRSS instance, but I can’t get the setting correct. I selected that I only want the layout in my YouTube category, but it’s still everywhere. Also, when I open a YouTube item, it looks the same as any other article. I do have a bunch of other layout related extensions enabled, so it might be because of that.
I like it, but I’ll need to play with it a bit more and try to get it to work.

Jellyfin: The Free Software Media System@lemmy.ml•Where does JF get its placeholder image when it can't find a banner for a band?English
2·2 months agoI noticed that when you’re on a page of a band with a background picture, it takes the background from that band when you open the play queue. Could that be what happened?

6·3 months agoOne of the few great “remakes”, in the sense that it doesn’t try to copy the original, bit reimagines the story.
Indeed, I used to buy Boss pedals, but there are so many cheaper options these days with exactly the same circuit, and the quality is generally quite good these days.
I wish, it’s Fazley, but they don’t have it anymore and I can’t find it anywhere. They used to have a case for 5 pedals as well, which would be great to add my reverb/delay pedal as well. I love to tinker with pedal combinations, and this board is ideal for quickly switching out pedals.
How could it not be, haha. The biggest difference is that the hot mode puts a clean boost behind the dirt.
I explain all the pedals in my original post, but you’re way off.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•which news aggregator on mobile can you recommend?
6·3 months agoI’ve been using Capy Reader as a frontend for FreshRSS for a while now, and I love it. It’s flexible and intuitive.
It’s not useful to discover new content though, I guess you’ll need a different solution for that. I usually just search a topic and RSS and try some feeds. I keep the ones I like and remove the rest.
I paid an arm and a leg to have the first press deluxe edition of this record, bit it’s so damn good, I love it!
I know where this is going, but I’ll bite.
What about Lars?

Yeah, I need to find something for the headstock. I’ll work on the pickguard as well. I bought a mint green one, but it was way to green. I saw a cool Hendrix parchment one, but the angle of the bridge pickup is reversed, and that won’t fit in the body cavity. I’ll probably end up relicing this one.
