I also got recently permabanned (reason: Golden Rule #8) from Ye Power Trippin Bastards after I posted Dessalines banning me on .ml despite not having posted anything there in three weeks.

Antizionist opinions are allowed on Feddit. However mathemachristian was being toxic, writing inflammatory comments and acting sort of like antiyanks.

If you can’t state your opinion without being a bigot, then you shouldn’t mention it at all on Feddit.

That is the status quo. What also counts is how stuff as worded. Statements need to be clear that they don’t imply the harm or persecution of innocents.

Sure, Feddit has a bunch of Zionists on it, because a lot of Germans are that way. Feddit.org is however a server originally intended for German speakers (and beyond) and not for specific political groups. We have rules and they count for everybody. You violate them, you bear the consequences.

That said, calling for the destruction of any country including Palestine, can be legally understood as a call for also the destruction of the country’s citizens. That’s why it is an issue.

It’s not that simple though. Run an instance that is dedicated to German speakers and not a specific political standpoint. The laws we have to obey are hatespeech laws. The laws don’t ban antizionism, they however ban glorification of murdering innocents of a certain ethnicity. Doesn’t matter which ethnicity. Some people are just sore they can’t voice antizionist critiques without losing themselves in a violent and hateful dream.

You get warned and/or banned on Feddit for also celebrating the massacre of Palestinians and being for the destruction of Palestine. Don’t jump to conclusions just because you feel you’ve been censored.

I have had to ban plenty of people who celebrated the Oct 7 massacres and then people then call me Zionist all the time because I wont let them glorify murder. It doesn’t matter who does the murdering whether Hamas or IDF, it is still wrong.

I am against the genocide of Palestinians and recognize that it must be stopped. The difference is just that I am not revanchist and don’t glorify the murder of civilians regardless if they are Palestinian or Israeli.

Again we have to obey laws where our server is hosted and where most of our userbase or face being shut down. Also hateful speech is generally not allowed on feddit, regardless if it is from Anti-Zionists or Zionists. We have banned a fair share of Antideutsche too.

I am in exactly the same predicament but I can limit it to one time meat a week or a shitload of eggs/dairy. But since I dont eat terribly big portions, I have to eat meat from time to time so I don’t start feeling like shit.

If you believe you can have a discussion with them, then why do you call them an avid troll? Usually you cant have productive discussions with trolls.

Then call for the destruction of Israel somewhere else than Feddit. We don’t want to get into legal trouble with Austrian authorities just because you felt like calling for something that is legally understood as a call for genocide in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and therefore qualifies as hatespeech (legally speaking).
