Indy wiki buddy has been pretty helpful for me replacing fandom/fextra wikis with the official/prefered wikis. It can also be set up to mirror fandom to BreezeWiki to get rid of the ads and other junk on fandom.

It’s an issue with VA panels starting cold. You probably notice that it’s more common when the temperature in the room is cold.

If your monitor has a startup graphic when powered on, or its settings menu appears at the bottom of your screen/overlap with the affected area, you’ll know the issue is with the panel and not your gpu/cables if the artifacts appear over top of the menu.

My MSI Optix G24C has the same issues (uses a VA panel manufactured by Samsung), and can take a couple min to warm up if the room is cold and hasn’t been used in a while. The issue typically goes away in the summer/resolves itself faster.

Your subscription list is hidden when you’re currently viewing a community or a user’s profile. It should be at the bottom of your sidebar on the right if you’re on https://lemmy.world/ or whatever instance your account belongs to when using the default desktop view.

You can also use something like https://old.lemmy.world/ and your subscriptions will be in the dropdown in the upper left under “my communities”. This can be viewed even when viewing another community/user’s profile.

A little more complicated than that, if you want to go to a community hosted on your instance (in your case lemmy.ml), you would go to https://lemmy.ml/c/asklemmy. This is different from the Ask lemmy hosted at lemmy.world.

Have you checked that your controller is set up to emulate a 360 controller? You can use https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad to see if you configured your controller correctly. (emulating xbox controller, and haven’t accidently hidden the virtual controller too)

There usually isn’t a benefit to having your virtual controller set as a DS4 Controller unless the game actually has support for ds4. (usually minor extra features like touch pad support but that’s rarely used anyways).

A lot of the comments I’ve seen promoting AI sound very similar to ones made around the time GME was relevant or cryptocurrency. Often, the conversations sounded very artificial and the person just ends up repeating buzzwords/echo chamber instead of actually demonstrating that they have an understanding of what the technology is or its limitations.
