I RENOUNCE JESUS CHRIST!

I RENOUNCE JESUS CHRIST!

Yeah, it’s not like Guyana and Suriname are countries with their own immigration laws, that their inhabitants expect to be enforced. They’re always ready to accept anyone from a western country that needs a spot to lay low for a couple of years. The same way the US always opened up and welcomed the Guyanese and Surinamese with open arms.

Wow, way to try to sound educated while just pulling stuff out of your ass. Under investment in agriculture? Lol. Afghanistan is the major supplier of saffron that Iran should learn from? How about Iran being the producer of close to 90 percent of the total global production. Spreading fake info poisons the information on Lemmy for all. Truly pathetic behavior.

Why are you confidently spouting nonsense all over the place? When has Israel bombed an Iranian nuclear site, ever? When you say “every time they make progress Israel bombs them”, you should be able to at least name a couple of times that has happened, right? Come on, look it up, you should be able to find at least one case. No? Stop spreading info you’ve pulled out of your rectum, people like you are the reason nothing online can be trusted. It’s poison, so please stfu when you have no idea what you’re talking about. This doesn’t make you sound smart, it makes you a nuisance.

Ahh, ok, got it. So it’s out of an extraordinary callous attitude where bombing of people is shitty when and only when they impact my life.

How does the attacked country being a “paper tiger” influence your judgement of whether it’s shitty or not to attack it? Is it less shitty to attack a country because it’s perceived as being weaker? Is it only shitty when the attacked country is able to defend itself? Why? That would make the Israeli genocide on Palestinians “less shitty” too, since you know, “Israel has been beating the shit out of them for years now.”
It’s an interesting moral compass you’ve got there.
Jesus, how much have the Zionists modified that Wiki article? A text supposedly about how Israelis dehumanize Palestinians repeatedly starts by reciting the issue with Palestinians and Muslims dehumanizing Jews? This is the first mention of the details of dehumanization:
“Among Palestinians, Israelis have been referred to as pigs, dogs, and bloodsucking vampires, while in Israeli discourse references to Palestinians as savage animals and or repugnant critters has also been attested, and at least once, protesting Gazans have been described as mere ammunition weaponized by their “cannibal” leaders.”
And this is the first paragraph under “Background”:
“Even though Jews, like a number of other religious minorities, Christians included, were accorded protected status in Islamic societies, the use of abusive stereotypes was not uncommon, some of them were grounded in Quranic and early scholarly traditions.”
Is this about Israeli dehumanization of Palestinians? WTF? Let’s always start by reciting how Muslims maybe kind of deserve it, or maybe bring the dehumanization on themselves.

Yahoo search? Alta Vista ftw

Nuance doesn’t seem to be their strong suit
I’m in the same boat. I do not like defederation. So where do we go? Any other instance with the same openness? I don’t know details about instances, but I know I’d like to avoid .world though.
I know, it’s the part where you put an equivalence between the Zionist occupiers and the resistance to that illegal occupation. Regardless of the ideology of the occupied people, they have a right to armed resistance enshrined in international law. The occupier has zero rights in this context, just the responsibility to end the occupation and until then, provide for the needs of the occupied, which Israel has utterly disregarded on both accounts. So saying “both are as bad” in this context makes you a clear supporter of the Zionist atrocities, the resistance is exercising it’s human right to armed resistance to occupation. You know, like when jewish Partizans killed during WWII. Calling that equally as bad as the Nazis would in effect make you a Nazi supporter.
“The act of killing” plays that role for me. The most amazing movie I have ever watched, but I’ve just been able to watch it a handful of times. Haven’t gathered the courage to watch the follow up, “The look of silence” yet.

Very pleased to see must mentioned. That shit is awesome.

Yeah, it’s famously illegal to insult the Sultan of Iran

They had the same situation in Iran 1979 for example, and the military refused direct orders from the king to fire on the crowds. However, Iran had a conscript military and not the ‘professional’ thuggery of the modern US volunteer military.

Commenting “fuck ACAB nonsense” on a post that clearly demonstrates ACAB is kinda wild. Did you not read how the local PD enabled the ICE thugs by arresting people for “laying hands on federal agents”? Those Cs aren’t Bs?

Where are all those brave Americans chastising the cowardly Russians for not standing up to Putin’s bullshit? What happened? I thought you were all armed to the teeth, and brave as fuck? But now somehow everyone suddenly has become so damn sensible in assessing the threats to themselves personally. I wonder what changed. No longer gong ho about revolution when it comes with personal costs, are we? Who would’ve thought…

I’d say geographical size has very little to do with it, unless you think Canada is more diverse because of its size? Population size would probably be a better marker for this purpose.
Even in this fan fic version, that’s not anyway close to being on the table. A land invasion of Iran has zero chance of success. With bombing they might be able to spin it positively, but a land invasion of a country that large with the particular natural defences of Iran would be too dumb even for Trump I think.
