    Unfortunately, not as bad as my state. “In Oklahoma, employees under 18 years old who have not graduated high school, and students under 22 enrolled in school, can be paid below the standard minimum wage. The state minimum for these exempt, non-student, or minor workers can be as low as $2.00/hour”

      That statement has been true for decades. The military is easily the best social ladder in the US. I went from Walmart to a six figure job with one enlistment.

        It’s very common, especially retail will pay the minimum and mostly schedule minors during weekends and evenings.
