Burn-in does happen, just not very much.

OLED burn-in is real, but increasingly looks like it’s not a major worry for either WOLED or QD OLED.

    I’ve always had reservations about OLED screens. They look so nice but I don’t want the anxiety that comes with having to baby sit it and not using a task bar, etc.
