    and many don’t know there are alternative chatbots like Gemini and Claude that many people think are even better.

    Alphabet (Google) paid Trump also though:

    Twitter (X) paid him $10 million to settle a case they’d already won. Facebook (Meta) followed with $25 million. And now Google (Alphabet) has paid $24 million - not to Trump personally, but funneled through tax-exempt trusts supposedly for the National Mall, but really to fund construction of a massive 90,000-square-foot Mar-a-Lago-style ballroom on the White House.

    Seems like more of the same ass kissing for most of these big tech companies. Is Anthropic any better?

      They seem quite psyched to have Trump as the president. A whole page about what a good puppy they have been:

    All companies that are making AI need to donate to whoever is currently president, because their entire business is fundamentally based on illegal actions. By buying off the president, they can continue to steer legislation towards legalizing their theft of content.

    If the goal is specifically to hurt the company, then an alternative is to use the free tier as much as possible in order to increase their costs.

    At this rate atleast one thing that is a critical part of your life is produced by someone who sponsors Trump with large sums of money. That is what a tech oligarchies tend to do when fascists run a country, pay the tribute to stay alive.

    Ridiculously enough this page asks you to share it using Twitter and TikTik of all things. Gets better and better, they also suggest you can use Claude or Gemini as if Anthropic or Google is not licking Trump’s ass. Not an OpenAI fan but I am highly suspicious this page is the grass roots organization it claims to be (not very much info about that either).

    I’m still one off luddites who has never installed opened ChatGPT. My only experience has been the search results bots, and unless it is a link to Wikipedia, it’s been ignored or blatantly wrong in my searches.
