Never heard of Japhy Wilson nor his book (nor Bangor U).

Jeffrey Sachs is a man with many faces.

I don’t think so. I think he’s uncharacteristically candid for a person in his position. An open book, to the extent he can be given the things he’s heard in confidence. Either that or he’s the best liar in the world, because my BS detector is pretty good.

that’s exactly it, he’s very good for exposing all the horrid shit the empire does, but he’s incapable of providing any solutions because he lacks material analysis

Yup. He’s a smart guy, and he seems to not have a chauvinist bone in his body, but if he hasn’t gotten rid of the liberal brain worms by now, he never will.

Yeah pretty much, but I do think people like him provide value because they have the authority of actually having been there when all these decisions were made.

I really like Jeffrey Sachs and find him refreshing, but he’s still a liberal with liberal views, educated in liberal institutions. That’s not to degenerate him, he’s probably easily and somewhat trustworthy alliable, but when I can note subtle liberal ideas in some of his speeches, that says something.
