Limited Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies exclusively to personal, non-commercial use of our products. Please note that any commercial use of the product voids warranty coverage.
Definitions
To clarify the terms used in this warranty:

"Accessory" or "Accessories" refers to secondary components included in the product's box, such as cables, power adapters, and Pimax headbands, bearing the Pimax trademark or logo.

"Normal Use Conditions" denotes typical end-user use in accordance with provided instructions.

"Product" encompasses the Pimax virtual reality system, including the headset, controllers, and base stations, as sold by authorized retailers.

“Retailer” means a business that sells goods directly to end-users, including those with a physical and/or online presence.

“Warranty Period” means 12 months for the VR headset and 6 months for the accessories from the date you purchased the product from an authorized retailer.

“You” or “Your” means the original purchaser and/or original end-user of the Product.
What is covered
During the warranty period of 12 months for the VR headset and 6 months for the accessories from the purchase date, we guarantee that the product and accessories will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use conditions.
This limited warranty is given only to you, and may not be sold, assigned, transferred, or given in full or in part to any subsequent purchaser or acquirer of the product or accessory or any other person. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from different countries.
What is not covered
We kindly remind you that this limited warranty specifically pertains only to Pimax products or accessories. As such, it does not extend to any non-Pimax equipment or software, regardless of its intended or labeled use with our products. If you require warranty assistance for third-party products, we recommend reaching out directly to the respective manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, as they may offer their own warranty coverage. This limited warranty shall not be applicable under the following circumstances:

If the product or accessory serial number, date code, or water indicator has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, or is illegible.

To any deterioration of the cosmetic appearance of the product or accessory due to normal wear and tear.

To consumable parts, such as face foam, straps, or protective coatings, that are reasonably expected to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a malfunction.

To malfunctions caused by the battery if improperly installed or if the seals of the battery or battery pack are broken or show evidence of leakage or tampering.

To malfunctions caused by electrical surges or other electrical current problems not attributable to the product or accessory.

To use not in accordance with the user manual or not under normal use conditions.

To rough handling, outdoor use, exposure to liquids, dampness, extreme thermal or environmental conditions, or rapid changes in such conditions, corrosion, or oxidation.

To use for commercial purposes, as the product is intended solely for personal entertainment purposes.

To damage caused by or resulting from modifications or non-warranty repairs.

To accidents, forces of nature, or other actions beyond the reasonable control of Pimax, unless the defect was caused directly by a malfunction.

To physical damage to the surface of the product or accessory, including but not limited to cracks or scratches on the surfaces, including any screen or lens.

To any computer or other product to which the product may connect. Pimax does not warrant that the operation of the Product or accessory will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To any product in which the operating system and/or firmware has been altered, including any failed attempts to alter the operating system, regardless of whether such modifications are authorized, approved, or otherwise sanctioned by Pimax.

To malfunctions caused by unplugging any cable from or otherwise powering off the product or your computer during a firmware update.

To malfunctions caused by the use of the product or accessory with or connection of the product to an accessory not approved or provided by Pimax or used in any way other than its intended use and where such defect is not the fault of the product itself.
This limited warranty is valid and enforceable. where the product and accessories are intended to be sold. A product or accessory can be returned to be repaired at the locations designated by Pimax. Warranty service availability and response times may vary in different countries.
How to obtain warranty service
When seeking warranty service for a perceived malfunction in your product or accessory, please follow these steps:
1. Refer to the user manual and/or resources available at https://support.pimax.com to identify and correct the issue. However, please be mindful that opening the product or accessory may result in damage not covered under the limited warranty.
2. If the problem persists after consulting the user manual and available resources, please contact the retailer from which you purchased the product or accessory. Alternatively, visit https://support.pimax.com for further information on reaching out to Pimax customer care for assistance. We're here to help resolve any concerns you may have.
When reaching out to the retailer or Pimax for assistance, we kindly ask that you have the following information readily available:

The model and serial number of the product or accessory.

Your full address and contact details.

A copy of the original invoice, receipt, or bill of sale for the purchase of the product. Valid proof of purchase is required when making any claims under this limited warranty.
Upon completion of these steps, Pimax will provide you with detailed instructions on how and when to return the product or accessory. Please note that you may be responsible for any costs associated with the return.
If the product or accessory is returned during the warranty period and meets the terms of this limited warranty, Pimax or its authorized agent will, at their discretion, repair or replace it. Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned products or accessories and/or parts. Rest assured, the repaired or replaced product or accessory will be returned to you in good working condition. Any items replaced under this warranty become the property of Pimax.
Should Pimax elect to provide user-installable parts instead of requesting a return, you agree to return the replaced parts at your own expense, if requested.
Please note that warranty service may be restricted to the country where the product or accessory was intended to be sold. To be eligible for any remedy under this limited warranty, Pimax must be notified of any perceived malfunctions during the applicable warranty period. Unless specifically instructed otherwise, please refrain from shipping your product or accessory directly to Pimax. If you need to return the product or accessory for warranty service, please ensure you follow the aforementioned steps. Your cooperation is appreciated in ensuring a smooth process.
