Danish government postpones plans to build an energy island in the North Sea by three years

The decision to initiate the tender for the artificial energy island planned to be built in the North Sea has been postponed. Going forward, the Danish government will look into other potential concepts and continue talks of collaboration with e.g. Germany.

This means that the estimated completion date of the ambitious project is pushed to 2036 or later.
