Charles Curtis Berghofer (fødd 14. juni 1937) er ein USA-amerikansk jazz-kontrabassist som har arbeidd som studiomusikar og i filmindustrien.

Berghofer har arbeidd med mellom andre Skinnay Ennis, Bobby Troup, Pete Jolly, Shelly Manne, Jack Sheldon, Conte Candoli, Frank Rosolino, Rahsaan Roland Kirk og Philly Joe Jones, Zoot Sims, Ray Charles, Bob Cooper, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Peggy Lee, Shelly Manne, Gerry Mulligan, Art Pepper, Frank Rosolino, Seth MacFarlane og Frank Sinatra.

Han var medlem av Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra kring 1967 då Frank Zappa spelte inn orkesterpartia for Lumpy Gravy.
