Abad Asia
Abad Asia ialah dominasi abad ke-21 politik dan budaya Asia, dengan mengandaikan trend demografi dan ekonomi tertentu berterusan. Konsep Abad Asia sejajar dengan pencirian abad ke-19 sebagai Abad Imperial Britain, dan Abad ke-20 sebagai Abad Amerika.
Kajian 2011 oleh Bank Pembangunan Asia mendapati bahawa tambahan 3 bilion orang Asia boleh menikmati taraf hidup yang sama seperti di Eropah hari ini, dan rantau ini boleh menyumbang lebih separuh daripada output global pada pertengahan abad ini. Walau bagaimanapun, ia memberi amaran bahawa Abad Asia tidak ditetapkan terlebih dahulu.[1]
Peningkatan kepentingan dan penekanan perpaduan di Asia, serta hubungan matang dan progresif antara negara-negara di rantau ini terus memperkuat penciptaan Abad ke-21 Asia.[2][3] [4][5][6][7]
