Usurpation
I want to usurp the following accounts. I hold the SUL of username Animagus and my home wiki is de.wikipedia.org. There are accounts existing on enwiki and skwiki. In my opinion myself created the account on enwiki 2010, but I am not able to log in anymore. All of them have 0 (zero) edits and contributions. --217.87.181.43 04:54, 22 June 2011 (UTC),thank you!

Automatic renaming and later merger
Hello there! I have a question regarding the automatic renaming of accounts due in May. I have a global account, Kazu89, and local accounts named Andreas on three smaller Wikipedias. Since Andreas exists on a few other wikis, thoses accounts will most likely be renamed. Now I wonder: If I manage to get Andreas converted to a SUL, will it be possible later on, to merge both SULs, i.e. Kazu89 and Andreas? I'd rather not give up Andreas as it is a sysop account in those three minor wikis that people can contact if they need any help and one of them is my most active account where people from other wikis contact me. --Kazu89 (talk) 11:20, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, this will be possible. But if you want to merge Andreas~smallwiki1, Andreas~smallwiki2 etc. with SUL-Kazu89 we might have to usurp Kazu89@smallwiki1, Kazu89@smallwiki2 etc. Thus, you would loose the edits made with these accounts. Cheers, —DerHexer (Talk) 11:23, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- You mean edits made by Kazu89@smallwikiX, right? Not those made by Andreas, I hope.
- By the way, could you have a look at Andreas with the SUL Info tool, please? Is there even a chance to get the name? Those marked sysop are mine, also scnwiki and extwiki appear to be mine, though I need to find the passwords for those first. There are some accounts which have made edits in the past but I checked them locally and they've all been inactive for years. Andreas at barwiki made two edits according to SUL Info but none are found locally... --Kazu89 (talk) 11:35, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, edits made by Kazu89@smallwikiX if there are any. And yes, one of your sysop accounts will get the Andreas SUL account (most likely the rmwiki one because it has most edits). But probably, stewards will have to merge some of the other accounts because they might be renamed if they cannot be combined automatically with the SUL account. Cheers, —DerHexer (Talk) 14:27, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your answers, Hexer. Then I will go for SUL-Andreas (if I find out how to). Edits done as Kazu89 at the smaller wikis are negligible; they're only global interwiki fixes and some minor edits when I wasn't aware of being logged in with SUL-Kazu89. Now I'll check how to SULify the Andreas account. --Kazu89 (talk) 14:46, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- So I have to start the merger from e.g. rm.wiki and then it will take over all local Andreas accounts with the same password and create the account at all wikis that don't have such an account. Then I can take over all my Andreas accounts that may have different passwords. And then I have to come back here or go to Wikis with their own stewards and ask for existing Andreas accounts to be renamed so I can take their place. Is that the way? Sorry for the trouble, I just want to do it right... --Kazu89 (talk) 15:11, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- You can only usurp Andreas accounts if you have the same password or email address. The other ones which you cannot access will be renamed away in the SUL finalization process. I doubt that you need to deal with other bureaucrats of wikis. Cheers, —DerHexer (Talk) 15:15, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Unattached account on closed wiki
My SUL name has an unattached account on the Marshallese Wikipedia, which is now closed. http://toolserver.org/~quentinv57/tools/sulinfo.php?username=HLHJ&showlocked=1
That was, in fact, me. I made one edit (the last section of https://mh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Main_Page, unsigned for some reason) on the Marshallese Wikipedia, long ago, but I don't recall the password. When I ask it to send a temporary password it does not show up on any e-mail address I was using at the time. I'm wondering if the e-mail address is actually the same, and resend does not work because the wiki is closed. Either that or I messed up the e-mail address somehow. May I attach this account to my SUL? How? HLHJ (talk) 16:27, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
