Meta:Requests for oversight/-revi

Good day. I'd like to nominate -revi for local oversight permissions at Meta-Wiki. As steward, -revi has in the past approached our team requesting that edits and logs (included those derived from his performance of his steward duties) be suppressed. I think that we can just trust him to do that job himself which will certainly improve our response against harassment. Also, while the level of requests we receive is low, I would prefer to have more people in the team so the requests we receive through the mailing list could be addressed faster and more time zones are covered. Currently we're just two. I'd like to clarify that nowadays we have no such a problem with regards to avalaibility or with delays in the processing of local oversight, but we should aim for not having them in the future. -revi is a steward and a local oversighter in the Korean Wikipedia, so he already has experience with the tool. I feel he can certainly be trusted with this access and I hope the community thinks likewise and can support this nomination. Thank you, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 15:52, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate acceptance: I am happy to accept the nomination. — regards, Revi 15:55, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  15. Support Support obviously, revi is more than qualified and is one the best Wikimedians we have. I will note though that one of the reasons we need more oversighters on meta is because of the pointless removal of those who were active and held the permission.
