Community Wishlist Survey 2020
editHello!
You are getting this message because you've previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey, in either the Wikisource or Wiktionary categories. I wanted to let you know that this year's survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until November 11. Unlike previous years, we are only accepting proposals for non-Wikipedia content projects with no dedicated teams (i.e., Wikibooks, Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikisource, Wikiversity, Wikispecies, Wikivoyage, and Wikinews). You can learn more on the survey page.
You can vote on proposals from November 20 to December 2. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won't send out a separate reminder to you about that. We look forward to your participation. Thank you! IFried (WMF) (talk) 18:52, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

Furthermore, we hope that you will participate in the other Wikisource improvement projects, which we’ll address in the future. Thank you in advance and we look forward to reading your feedback on the project talk page!

The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!
18:25, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!

Grant apply: Wiki Loves Folklore 2023
editDear Benipal hardarshan,
thank you for your application to our chapter with Wikimedia CH/Grant apply/Wiki Loves Folklore 2023. Unfortunately, we have to reject it. According to our guidelines, we can only accept applications up to CHF 5000. Applications with a larger budget must be submitted to us until the 3rd quarter for the following year. As this project is to start very soon in February, this is not possible. In principle, however, we are interested in this format. Proposals can be submitted (in time) for 2024. We are also not very happy with the content in some points. If you want to submit a proposal again for next year, please contact us beforehand so that it can be made suitable first. Misappropriation of Grants Funds Wiki Loves Folklore 2023
editDear Hardarshan,
I am writing to you regarding the Wiki Loves Folklore grants that the Wikimedia Foundation has provided to you in a total amount of 21,071.65 CAD, out of which 17,000 CAD is the remaining funds still with you. It has come to our attention that the funds have not been used as intended, and we have not received any updates on the progress on you sending the bank transfers.
Despite numerous attempts to contact you, the International Team has not received any response from you. This is concerning, as the funds were provided for specific purposes, and their misuse or failure to be used as intended is a breach of trust and contract.
We demand that you respond to our emails immediately and provide an explanation for the misuse of funds or failure to provide updates. If you do not respond or make arrangements to return the funds immediately, we will have no choice but to seek legal action to recover the funds.
Our hopes, and our requests from the last 6 weeks have been falling to deaf ears. We urge you to take this matter seriously and to respond as soon as possible to avoid any further action.
Sincerely, On behalf of the International Team, TIven Gonsalves. Chief coordinator. Wiki Loves Folklore.
Wiki Loves Folklore Grants
editDear Hardarshan, Hope you are well, I am writing this message because I've been recently informed that you had active edits on Punjabi Wikisource.
The International project of Wiki Loves Folklore is badly affected because of the missing $11,173 USD that is illegally retained by you. Kindly get in touch with the International Team as soon as possible.
