Hello, please do not add links to files directly, use instead image (P18). Thank you, — TintoMeches, 16:05, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I will. Thanks for the hint! 77.56.53.183 16:14, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
No problem. :-) — TintoMeches, 16:48, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, note that an admin, Jared Preston, mentioned to me that "Commons categories should only be linked to category items" and removed the edit I did similar to the ones you have been doing as well. So if that happens the links you've removed on Commons should, apparently, still be used. TherasTaneel (talk) 18:35, 5 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

This makes really no sense to me. I add a Commons category link to a Wikidata article item if and only if the Commons language links of that category are nonexistent, they are outdated, or when I update the Commons category. In case there exists a Wikidata category item for this topic, I add the Commons category link there. I even check if a Wikidata category item in another languages exists. You (or Jared Preston) are saying I should manually maintain the Commons language links? Sorry, but we live in 2015 :-) Once a Commons gallery site exists, one can change the Commons link of a Wikidata item easily. Such a change is painless and provable less effort than maintaining millions of language links. 77.56.53.183 20:28, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I'm just telling what that admin said, not that I agree, that they apparently only want gallery pages from commons linked, not a commons-category, although it's seen - if not everywhere, then alot. Which as you say is alot easier. TherasTaneel (talk) 01:19, 7 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
