Citationgraph bot adds cites work (P2860) statements to items, typically instances of scholarly article (Q13442814). It does so using these sources:

• OpenAlex (Q107507571) as of October 2022
• Crossref (Q5188229): 2021 annual dump, dated January 7, 2021
• PubMed (Q180686): December 2020 annual baseline with occasional updates, dated December 20, 2020 to ~March 2021.
• PubMed Central (Q229883) web API (Q557770)

Recommendations for more sources are welcome, but there should be no asserted copyright (Q1297822) or other usage restrictions, owing to Wikidata's requirements.

The goal of Citationgraph bot is to build a powerful graph database (Q595971) of citation (Q1713) within Wikidata (Q2013), using connections between sources and facts to give us a deeper amount of insight into the provenance of our knowledge.
