Attributes

Attributes in Stormgate are a set of tags that belong to units and buildings that can determine bonus damage and affect abilities. Attributes contain armor types such as light and heavy and other attributes about their physical condition such as biological and mechanical. Ground and air are also attributes that determine how a unit can move and which attacks can target it. Stormgate currently has no attack types, that generally modify the amount of damage against certain armor types or attributes.
Armor types[edit]
All units are either light or heavy . While most smaller units have the light tag this can not be generalized. I. e. ( Lancers are heavy while Weavers are light). All buildings have the structure tag.

Physical conditions[edit]
All units are either biological, mechanical, both or nothing. Currently all Infernals are biologial while Vanguard's infantry ( Barracks) units are biological and their mechs and flyers are mechanical. Certain Vanguard units like the S.C.O.U.T. and the MedTech are both. Celestial Biosynths are both biological and mechanical, currently, this only includes the Argent. Their War Machine ( Starforge) units are only mechanical. The Celestial caster Cabal is neither biological nor mechanical.

Some units have special conditions. All hero units from Co-op have the Heroic tag, while the Flayed Dragon has a Resilient tag, which renders it immune to a Cabal taking control of it.

Mobility types[edit]
While Ground units cannot move over certain terrain types, air units are not restricted in their movement. Depending on the attack of a unit it can hit ground units, air units or both.
