Biography[edit]
Danny made his competitive debut in 2020 on Zenith Esports in the Upsurge Premier League Fall tournament, with the roster joining Evil Geniuses Prodigies ahead of the grand finals. They won the finals in a 5-game fashion to beat Columbia College, handing Danny his first tournament title in his debut event. With the team sticking together for spring 2021, Danny and co. would go on to place 2nd at the Risen Champions League Winter tournament. Following their run through the Proving Grounds circuit, Evil Geniuses Prodigies qualified for the LCS Proving Grounds 2021 Spring tournament. After beating Immortals Academy and Dignitas Academy, they would eventually lose against the champion No Org, dropping to the loser's bracket where they lost against 3rd place finisher 100 Thieves Academy.
Ahead of summer 2021, Evil Geniuses announced the promotion of Danny, making him the first Evil Geniuses Prodigies player to get promoted to any of their main rosters. They would go on to place 5-6th, losing against 100 Thieves and Cloud9 to be eliminated from the event. Despite being eliminated early, Danny was awarded the rookie of the year award as well as a position in the 2nd LCS All-Pro Team, making many people excited about his potential.
2022 brought a lot of changes for Danny's team, with Contractz, Svenskeren, Jiizuke, and IgNar leaving the team. This meant that only Impact and Danny would remain from the original roster, with Inspired joining from Rogue, jojopyun joining from Evil Geniuses Academy, and Vulcan joining from Cloud9. The team was expected to do well, but with a rookie midlaner, and an unexperienced Danny, there were a lot of question marks surrounding them. Evil Geniuses would go on to win 9 games in a row in the LCS Lock-In Tournament, with a pentakill for Danny in the match against Golden Guardians. They would eventually fall 3-0 against Team Liquid in the grand finals to finish second.
3 weeks into the 2022 LCS Spring Split, Danny and co. found themselves with a 2-5 record, only winning against Dignitas and TSM. Despite that tough early season record, Evil Geniuses fought back to a 9-9 record and secured their 4th place following a tiebreaker win against FlyQuest. They would face Team Liquid in the playoffs and despite Danny's best effort, Evil Geniuses fell in a 5-game series, resulting in them dropping down to the loser bracket. Danny would be crowned MVP in their 3-1 loser bracket win against FlyQuest, which proved to be the hardest game they'd have in their lower bracket run as they went on to sweep Cloud9, Team Liquid and 100 Thieves to be crowned 2022 Spring Champions, with Danny securing the MVP award in the games against Team Liquid and 100 Thieves.
