Lee "Infiltration" Seon-woo is a South Korean Fighting Games player.

He is a six-time EVO champion, having won Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition in 2012, Street Fighter X Tekken in 2012 and 2013 (the former with Laugh as his partner), Street Fighter V at EVO 2016, EVO Japan 2018 and Samurai Shodown in 2019. He also won the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Global Tournament Finals in 2012 for both Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Street Fighter X Tekken, as well as Capcom Cup for Street Fighter X Tekken in 2013.

Biography[edit]

Career[edit]

Infiltration was originally known for being highly skilled with dozens of characters in Street Fighter IV, and was notorious for his hit-and-run playstyle. His versatility and skill at top-level culminated in him winning EVO 2012, where he convincingly defeated Daigo, PR Balrog and GamerBee to win his first EVO title. In crossover fighting game Street Fighter X Tekken, he won EVO 2012, EVO 2013, Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Global Tournament Finals and Capcom Cup. Infiltration then shifted his focus back to the Street Fighter, continuing to be very successful in both Super and Ultra versions of SFIV and accumulating several major wins with a variety of characters.

Early into the first few months of Street Fighter V, Infiltration was undefeated in major tournaments he entered, eventually losing his streak to Daigo Umehara and Xiao Hai at DouyuTV U-League II, where he placed 4th. He then bounced back at EVO 2016 by winning the largest tournament in history at the time with over five thousand registered competitors.

Although he was significantly less successful in 2017, Infiltration took home another EVO title at EVO Japan 2018 while mainly specializing in mastering Juri, despite the character not being considered very strong at that moment in time.

Controversy[edit]

In late 2018, he voluntarily withdrew from competing in Capcom Cup 2018 and the 2019 Capcom Pro Tour season, after controversy following allegations of domestic violence against his ex-wife.[1] He initally announced he was on a competitive hiatus until 2020 [2] but had stated his intention to compete at EVO 2019, where he won his sixth EVO Title in Samurai Shodown.[3]

In June 2022, Capcom released a statement that due to multiple code of conduct violations, Infiltration was "indefinitely banned from Capcom-owned, operated and/or licensed events globally."[4]
