Overview[edit]

Ancient (de_ancient) is a bomb defusal map in Counter-Strike 2. It was created by Valve and introduced on December 3, 2020 as part of the Broken Fang operation. [1] On May 3, 2021, when Operation Broken Fang concluded, Ancient replaced Train in the Active Duty Map pool while Train went into the Reserve Map pool. [2] It was ported to CS2 with no skybox.
