Species typica
Bambusa est genus cui sunt circa 130 species Bambusearum scandentium.[2] Hae species plerumque sunt altissimae, multos ramos in nodo habentes, quorum singulus vel bini aliis ramis sunt multo maiores. Inveniuntur in tropicis et subtropicis Asiae regionibus, praecipue in tropicis humidis.
